Bobby Flay’s Actress Wife’s Seeking to Overturn Their Prenup and Keep Earnings from Racehorse

The ten-year marriage of celebrity chef and restaurateur Bobby Flay and actress Stephanie March is coming to an end with Flay filing for divorce on April 10. Flay denies rumors that the divorce is a result of his having an affair with his assistant. March is best known for her role as Assistant District Attorney Alexandra Cabot in “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.” It is reported that the parties’ prenuptial agreement includes a provision for March to receive $5,000.00 per month in alimony, but March is now claiming that sum is not enough. March points to having to cut back on her career due to medical issues stemming from a burst appendix and three infections. Flay claims the medical condition is due to March’s choice to undergo breast augmentation surgery. March also points to her role in helping Flay grow his fortune to an estimated $20 million. According to March, not only did she help Flay, who lauded her “amazing palate,” by testing his new recipes, but she convinced him to add tapas to the menu at his restaurant Bolo which received three stars from the New York Times. March is also claiming that Flay withheld $130,000.00 in prize money won by a racehorse he gave her for their fourth anniversary and that Flay also withheld the $60,000.00 made when he sold the horse.
