The Annual State Bar of Nevada Advanced Family Law Program is being held on December 3, 2015, at the new State Bar office in Las Vegas.
The program features seven hours of CLE credit, including one hour of ethics and lunch courtesy of Lawyers Solutions Group. Speakers include Ishi Kunin, Elyse Tyrell, Hon. Cheryl Moss, Hon. Mathew Harter, Margaret Pickard, Tom Standish, Dan Marks, Marshal Willick, Ed Kainen, Ed Ewert, Hon. Bill Henderson, Hon. Linda Marquis. Supreme Court Justices Kristina Pickering and Nancy Saitta will be joined by Family Court Judge Charles Hoskin and Jim Jimmerson to discuss what a district court judge may and may not do once a notice of appeal has been filed. The program is moderated by Bruce Shapiro.
Immediately following the CLE program, from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., will be the Family Law Pro Bono Celebration.
This reception will honor family law practitioners who have made a pledge or donation in support of pro bono service. You may secure your invitation by accepting a new pro bono case, pledging to attend an Ask a Lawyer Session or making a donation to the State Bar Foundation.
